1. Sun Protection
First and foremost, make sure to pack sun protection. SPF, hats, visors, and cover-ups are all great ideas to ensure you stay as protected as possible. You may want to pack sunglasses and a lip balm with SPF, too. There are many ocean-friendly sunblock options now available, so consider checking those out to protect our beautiful Gulf Coast.
2. Beverages
When you soak up the sunshine, you are sure to get thirsty. Do not forget to pack plenty of water to stay hydrated. We suggest freezing your water bottle overnight, so your beverage stays cooler for longer. If you plan to bring a cold beer with you to the beach, be sure to pack canned beverages as no glass is permitted. We also suggest packing a koozie for the best experience.
3. Towels and Blankets
Sand is a fact of life at the beach, and you likely do not want to spend your day sitting in it. Remember to pack towels to dry off with after a dip in the Gulf. We also recommend a beach blanket if you need more space to spread out. It is the perfect item to pack if you plan to enjoy your lunch on the beach since it is thicker than a beach towel.
4. Fun Essentials
Everyone’s idea of a perfect beach day is different, so bring something personal to enjoy! For example, soak up some rays with the latest bestseller you have been meaning to get to. If you bring the family, consider packing toys for sand activities and goggles for the kids to explore the Gulf.
