Family-Friendly Meals to Grill this Summer
Summer is almost here! Warmer weather always makes us want to get out and grill. There is something so delicious about grilling out while enjoying a trip to the beach. When you stay at Adagio on 30A you will have access to community grills, making it easy for you to cook up some of your favorite meals. We have listed family-friendly meals to grill this summer during your trip to 30A!
Hamburger and Hotdogs
Can’t go wrong with a hamburger or hotdog on the grill. One easy way to spice this up is by trying new cheese on your hamburgers. Instead of the classic cheddar cheese try swiss or pepper jack! You could also grill them with bacon or onion on top to add extra flavor.
Skewers
Skewers are always such a fun meal with kids because it allows them to pick what they would like on their skewer. Typically skewers consist of two or three meat options and your favorite veggies. To make delicious skewers on the grill, cut up your favorite meat and veggies, marinate them in the refrigerator while you spend your day on the beach, add them to a wooden skewer, and place them on the grill. So simple and perfect for kids!
Potatoes
Who doesn’t enjoy a potato for dinner? To grill a potato, cut it into bite-size pieces, place it in tin foil, add toppings such as butter or bacon, and place it on the grill. Cleanup is so easy, and your kids will love getting to choose which toppings they put on their grilled potato.
Corn on the Cob
Grilled corn on the cob is the perfect side to any meal! Through some chicken and corn on the cob on the grill and your dinner is taken care of. To take it a step further, add some extra flair to your corn on the cob by sprinkling parmesan before eating!
Fajitas
Fajita night on the beach? Yes please! Fajitas aren’t an obvious choice when it comes to grilling out, but we have to say it sounds pretty good. Grill some chicken, steak, bell pepper, and onion, cut it all up, and assemble some delicious fajitas. You can pair your fajitas with sour cream, cheese, salsa, and more.
Grilled Fruit for Dessert
To finish off your meal, grill your favorite fruit for dessert. Some summer options include pineapple, peaches, or apricots. Put some vanilla ice cream in a bowl and top it with grilled fruit.
We hope these family-friendly meals to grill this summer inspire you to take advantage of the community grills and other incredible amenities at Adagio on 30A!
